I found a wild animal
Injured animal
Do not feed or water it. You can cover a smaller animal with a box or blanket; keep noise and handling to a minimum. Contact the nearest rescue centre - they will advise whether and how to transport it.
Young that looks abandoned
Fawns, leverets and fledgling birds usually need no help - the mother is nearby. Do not take them. Intervene only if the animal is injured or has stayed in the same spot for over a day.
Large or dangerous animal
Do not approach a boar, an elk or an injured deer - in panic they can hurt you. Keep your distance and call 112 or your municipal office.
Car collision
Turn on your hazard lights, set up the warning triangle and call 112. Do not transport a large animal yourself.
Dead animal
Report a dead animal on a road or public ground to the municipal office or local wardens. Do not touch it with bare hands.
